Sorry man but this is one time I won't side with you. I love people who say things like it's just a neon. You would have to pay me to drove a corvette and even then.....
This dude was cool. Big huge motor etc etc just got handed his *** by a sneezing mouse

It's the greatest feeling ever, the V8 guys and the tuner losers hate this car. It's a riot to drive.
The Z28 gives me the V8 rumble and hot rod look. They all do something different for me. I am currently in the process of buying the new Mustang 5.0 V8.![]()
Nothing beats the rush of driving that neon though. Thing accelerates like a motorcycle and drives like a go kart. Corvette owners suck, Chevy sucks, GM sucks... Don't tell them I think that, I like my job.
Says the owner of a 79 Z28????
..I'll never be able to thank RockerGuy or professor enough either for pulling my *** out of a pond when I really needed a hand.

This thread is so full of win.
What is "stage 3" anyway? Like everything but internals? How long do you think your neon will last at 20+lbs of boost?
Didn't you ever play Gran Turismo?
Stage 1 = a little horsepower
Stage 2 = more horsepower
Stage 3 = all the horsepower!

Thread has been totally de-railed because Mina went off bad mouthing one of my cars and misread my post about SS bikes and how you should stay small until you learn how to ride on the road. Things happen a lot faster on big displacement bikes OP. Make mistakes on the small ones, then you make less when you get to the big ones. Rack up tons of KM of exp, take a course, then move up when you are more then ready, not when you feel ready. You're never ready for something going terribly wrong. Someone I knew passed away this summer because of a mistake on a liter bike, he was in his second season. The big bikes are amazing, but you have to be mentally and financially prepared. I ride with a lot of older guys and after the crash of our friend and getting some chats from the older guys I've really toned down how I ride. You're tempted to do some crazy stuff when you move up to a SS when you're in your 20's. Insurance isn't high for no reason for us (Yes, in Ontario we do get robbed blindly as well). At the end of the day, mistakes happen, we just all hope to go home at the end of each ride.
Let's end all of the car shenanigans on a positive note, by helping the OP make a decision that will be good for him. I'm glad I got my R6, but if I didn't have great people to learn valuable lessons from, things may be different.

We were just bustin your balls! No need to go and change your signature and all :lmao:
Wonder what stage weight reduction he has
Oh, so you don't like it when people bad mouth your toys? Right on. Nothing personal, just glad I got my point across.
I didn't even notice that, but yeah, there's really no need. I lol'ed a little though. Moving along now...
