Alway curious but no.I would have asked if the owner showed up. I waited a bit but had to leave. I had some questions for him about the levers he put on the bike.

I got in to a jimmy and started it a few years ago. As I looked back to back out of the parking spot at the mall I realized it had a child seat. As soon as I said "of ****" this massive guy opens the door and yanks me out. Fortunately he listened and saw my jimmy was right beside his
Years ago , I was going for lunch so told my coworker to bring in the white dodge van for new tires.
I come back and he's giving me $#!+ because I gave the guy the wrong size tires , it was a Dodge Ram not a van , and it was blue , not white. I look in and there's a pick up instead of a minivan. :/

Last Saturday I met up with another GTAM member to deliver a Garmin GPS to him. We were both on grey Yamaha FZ09's. Apparently they're as common as muck! :lmao:

That's because it was the best color scheme they offered! It did like the 2015 with the white tank and blue wheels but didn't like the matte finish on the tank. Too hard to care for and I don't know what a matte finish is going to look like 5-6 years down the line.

I've left them because up until recently all the tail tidy kits either required you to actually cut the original down or others would take away the seat lock cover . Yamaha actually make a tail tidy kit for the bike now.
I don't actually mind the signal lights though

Walked up to a plaza close to my parents home & saw my dad's car parked there (he didn't know I was back in town). He was in a store & I had a spare key in my pocket, so I decided to move it 2 aisles over & about 10 cars down, then stood behind a column to watch. It took him a couple minutes to find it, then he went right up to the licence to make sure it was the right car. The WTF look on his face was priceless! I'm also easily amused.

There's only so many key combos. Used my key to start a buddy's bike before, but his didn't work on mine.

Here is my honest opinion having had the bike now for 8k:
Throttle:
I always ride in A mode (most aggressive) and yes the throttle is very jerky at low RPM, it has to do with having all injectors open at low rpm instead of just having the primary while the secondary are shot, B and Standard modes is better but still very jerky. There is a bulletin from Yamaha and they will fix that by installing a new fueling map on the bike, I am getting it done next week free of charge. 2015 does not have the problem.
Suspension:
This is from a racers perspective having a race GSXR1000 in my garage with awesome suspension.
The rear shock is absolute garbage, it does not have rebound adjustment and with the stock settings you always feel like the bike is going to wash from under you coming out of any corner at any speed. I changed the settings and made it a lot harder and now it is ok, but I wouldn't dare to do any real fast riding like I used to do with my other bikes. It can be replaced with a 2005/06 zx6rr (not the 636) or a 2008/10 zx10r stock shock, I haven't bothered since I no longer care to do any real fast riding in the street.
Front forks have a lot of travel and the front sinks in when you brake hard at low speed, but they are actually not bad riding at a decent pace, the oil can be changed for a heavier oil and some adjustments made to make it a lot better but I haven't felt the need for it.
So I will give the rear shock a 2 out of 10 and the front forks a 6 out of 10.
Engine is a 12 out of 10
Overall the most fun bike I have ever ridden

Well, it all depends on your weight. Im 175 lbs with gear and its fine for city riding. Only drawback is taking corners fast. I don't feel completely confident with riding it too aggressively around tight bends. Maybe that's just my skill level holding me back, but the front suspension and rear suspension just don't feel right when going too fast, say, on a on-ramp or off-ramp.
As for the throttle, its jumpy in first and second gear when riding in A mode. I have the 2015 ecu flash for the bike on my 2014. Power Commander V would be the best, especially if you're looking for an after-market exhaust.
But, man! That bikes really does put a smile on my face every time I ride it. So dam fun
