Weird noise when kill switch turns on

This has been happening for at least a year or two. What do you guys think it is?

I tried disconnecting all my electrical stuff, still makes the noise (alarm, LED light, heated grips). I have a MOSFET R/R but this was making the noise way before I installed that.

It's coming from somewhere in the trunk area? I disconnected the signals/lights but still made the sound.

Exhaust servo not being able to rotate properly or damaged?

Thanks guys, initially I thought it sounded like a servo but wasn't sure where there were servos on the bike. I'll try to adjust the cables and fiddle with it this weekend!

Take them off and leave the servo hooked up. You won't end up with an Fi light that way and the exhaust flap will remain open.

I'll assume the servo flap is open, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to ride (since exhaust gases will remain largely in the cylinder and not be evacuated properly?) so removing the cables - de-powering it so no clicking and no FI light? Removal of the SET valve itself not necessary (unless I just want to do it to remove dead weight)?
