Took a run down here Saturday - was a boring ride down and back - but once you get there it is a
great place to go check out. From door to door - 800 k
Now if you have more time you could explore around the area.
I should have made it 2 days to check out the area for myself.

I had a ride down there a month ago and planning to drive there, with my wife, this coming weekend...very nice place.

Good place to pick up some new clothes. No tax on anything under $100 IIRC. Varies by county. Motel prices are insane when there's a race on, 3X the normal. Also see the Glen Curtis Museum in Hammondsport. Ithaca has some nice waterfalls as well.

Agreed, the ride down in less than great but there's lots to see once you're there.

Damn - came within in a hair of taking that detour - we went right by the turn off but 144 was calling.

This is a decent day ride from the GTA

The nice loop for you is Letchworth and Corning for the Glass museum and perhaps the Air museum at Watkins Glen.

Me too...also went to Buttermilk Falls in Ithaca. Watkins Glen is better. Lots of craft beer places and wineries around so a few days exploring is best.
