Another GoPro copy with crappy battery life. But one good thing is that it's cheaper then the GoPro. No thanks.

It's only a matter of time till other companies reverse Engineer an authentic product and sell it for less

This camera cost exactly as much, or more as a GoPro Silver edition.

You have to see low light video, and battery capacity. The actual optics and chips now costs <$40, thanks to the smart phone industry.

The money is in the build quality for shock, and the battery quality. Capitalism is about copying a good product, and selling a cheap, poorly built look-alike product for slightly less on a high profit margin.

My reference to this was based on this thing being cheaper than go pro...but if it's not then yeah sticking with Go-Pro

But I tell you, a newer,cheaper (flimsier), cam is on its way...!
 
I think I'll give it a try. GoPro is cool, but really pricey. If it's a clone of the original GoPro, that's cool with me. It's also a lot less than the price of the basic GoPro, so that's a plus. It comes with a bunch of mounts that are extra for GoPro too. IMO, worth a shot. I don't really need the best, so that helps the decision.

Gopro Silver = $299
WASPcam 9900 = $229

They are both in the middle of the product line. Ya it's cheaper. (amazon.com prices)
 
Wasp only does 1080p30, so it's on par with the GoPro White. The GoPro Silver does 1080p60.

no it doesn't... The WASP 9902 does 1080p60 (and also 1080p30, 960p60 and 720p120)

I'm aware, but the one you compared to GoPro Silver does not do 1080p60. Kind of an unfair comparison isn't it?

no it's not when CafeRay specifically mentioned the GoPro Silver.
 
I have a sj4000 and its pretty descent camera. But you have to sand the inside of the camera mount screw holes as they are to smooth and will move on you no matter how much you tighten them.

P.s
I also have a 2nd gen go pro and the sjcam is better. Also get a rear LCD display. But only draw back it uses micro SD card
 
I have the SJ4000 Wifi and am very happy with it ($125 CDN shipped, +tax from amazon.ca).

Ive been eyeing the xiaomi yi (for when they actually have accessories)
and the mobius cam (which are dirt cheap for what you get)

aint nobody got money for a gopro
