Vancouver motorsport scene vs Toronto

I grew up in Vancouver. The riding season is a lot longer. It rains in the spring in fall but no more or less then here. The roads are WAY better. Insurance is 1/3 the price. Winters are mild (yes wet).
The downside is the Police out there have the biggest hate for motorcycles out of anywhere I've riden. The speed limits on sections of the 4 lane divided highway is 60kmhr! so guess where the cops sit all day writing huge tickets.
I miss riding out there so much, the sea to sky highway is a dream, as long as you have one eye looking for the law.

Fair enough for the cops on the S to S though. New riders with brand new SS will rip up and down that all summer and kill themselves constantly. It's bad enough that they look for racing motorcycles with a helicopter. I would take it easy to Squamish then you can open it up a bit through Duffy Lake.

Osoyoos in the interior is the hottest place in Canada in the summer. Interior of BC gets heavy snow in the winter yet and hot as f in the summer. The south coast would be the warmest year round though. Victoria is usually better than Van for rain because there's no mountains for the clouds to push against. It's all ****in nice though. I'm moving back next spring. 5 years is long enough here

What he said. Osoyoos even has cactus and tarantulas, just like AZ.

The rest of the OK Valley is all pretty nice though, and everything's pretty close together (in relative BC terms), and clustered around the Lake, so the weather only varies by a few degrees...

I'm aware that our motorsport scene as a country blows compared to Japan, US or all of Europe but I am considering moving to Vancouver in a few years.

How is the motorsport scene there and how many race tracks are in the province (not drag strips)? Also what are the drivers like?

Wait for me, i'm moving too.... I was told to stay away from the city and live on the West side.
