Vacuum brake bleeder suggestions?

looking to buy a vacuum based brake bleeder. Anything to know or look out for??

No, but you gave me an idea. I have some peristaltic pumps kicking around that have no purpose in life. A piece of silicone tubing and they could be good for that. No way for air to get back in past the pump.

I normally use pressure bleeding. Plusses and minus to both systems.

I use a small mityvac for the bike

and a larger bleeder that connects to my compressor for the cars.

I have the cheap pneumatic one from PA that connects to my compressor. Works so much better than pumping by hand because of the constant suction so you can focus on working the nipples to get the fluid out without bubbles.

What?

For a motorcycle? Use a big syringe.
For a car/truck (or you just want a decent little vacuum pump)? Lisle
Once you get fluid in the syringe it effs the rubber and it's spent. Also it doesn't hold a vacuum unless you hold it. Not a fan.

I've been using the same farm syringe from TSC for years. Rubber is good.

Which one were you using?

Yes, it is a bit of a two man job if you want to keep pressure with the syringe.
