Ural Neo

For those of you thinking about a rig. Move cautiously. It's NOT a bike! Get a demo ride, or contact someone who has one. ;)

Just read the Cycle World article on it and it will be interesting to see if people will fork over $20k for a Chinese made bike as most comments seem to focus on that. I hope it’s reliable and that parts availability are in place. It would be good for Ural if it was a success. For me, I’ll sit back and see how the rollout goes and what initial real world reports are like. Who know, by then I may have won the Lotto 649.

If we ever owned a dog, I'd 100% get a hack.

Doesn't matter which brand, it's going to ride like siht anyway...

I hear people complain about the URAL not being able to handle 400 series highways occasionally.
We ride for one reason. Fun. When was a ride on the 401 fun?

Wait... You guys are only riding for fun only? Not because you love riding even when it sucks?

So all those times I rode the highway five days a week, or rode through the winter, because I needed to get to work, I was doing it wrong?
When I forced myself to keep riding across Italy while the country was having record breaking flooding, I was doing the riding thing wrong there too?
All those guys that suffered ride ironbutts just to prove to themselves that they can, they've got it all wrong too?
And those people pouring blood, sweat, and tears into their track suits trying to set new personal bests, they're just doing it wrong...faster?

Someone tell everyone else who loves riding, even when there's zero fun involved, we've been doing it wrong lol

People want and even need to take 400-series highways, so how any vehicle performs on them is a valid question and complaint. ****, I made a video about how a 250cc Vespa performs on the 401 and it's gotten 30,000+ views. People care and we shouldn't try to invalidate their concern.

To answer your question though, when was a ride on the 401 fun? Every time I take it from around midnight to 3 am for starters, and second, any time traffic is moving and I'm on a bike.

If it was in my budget...100% would buy one.

Hell even used / old Urals are going for stupid money (in my opinion) and I can't justify them.

But for a sidecar where I could take the kids/wife/dog for a quick boot around the neighbourhood...I'd love one.

Totally agree.
I've been keeping my eyes open for an ebike sidecar for this purpose.

Getting parts for Ural's is a challenge these days. Many on backorder for months.
Hopefully with the new Neo things improve. Actually they have to improve, I fear if this new Neo fails it could be the beginning of the end for Ural.

99% correct. 1% ride for utility

A 650 used to be a big bike. Now it's a starter.

Goldwing 1800 owners want 2000. Boss Hoss with a SBC and now a big block?

Corporate ownership is big in the dental field.
Difference is that fees are regulated and and set by the college. The typical price gauging that you may think of may not happen. But the quality of service is definitely impacted.

Those are the 2 largest and own hundreds of dental offices in the country.

There are several other smaller ones.

Not your typical "personal touch" service.
