Turn signal Relay needed!

Need one for my '00 RC51. A relay from a CBR 900 or a ST1100 will work ( according to the Service manager at Markham Outdoor Power they are the same part) My turn signals won't work, fuse is good. Stock switch OR the replacement '04 switch I bought (thanks Brett!)

Someone told me to get one from an auto parts store for a cheap fix. Somehow, I don't think this is recommended! lol
 
OK I have an update. I checked the RC51 online manual. It says to use a jump wire and connect it with the white/green and gray wire in the connector on the harness. I did this, turned the bike on and turned the signals on. The lights came on ( but did not blink)

Manual says: If the light comes on, check for continuity between the green wire and the body ground. ( I can't see where the green goes to due to the harness being wrapped.) If there is no continuity check for an open circut in the green wire. (Once again can't see where green wire goes) If there is continuity, check the terminals for loose or poor contact. If terminals are ok, replace the turn signal relay.

All of the terminals look ok. Thinking the relay is pooched!

At Kahuna they sell a solid-state flasher.
This is superior to the traditional which is a bi-metal, the solid-state always flashes the same regardless of load current.
Lots of guys buying resistors etc. to make their LEDs work with the stock bi-metal, it's a bad plan.
Get the solid-state, expensive though.

I have cheap flush mounts up front ( no LED's) and stock out back. I can't afford good LED's lol

Hey now, any RC51 is a keeper, they're special and you must cling to it like it's your baby.
I was selling in London (at Hully Gully) back then (~2002-2003) and I think I sold 1 in my whole time there, but I remember.
It's iconic so, nothing but the best, don't forget...
You're gonna have to get a qualified tech to rip up your harness and troubleshoot it further, if you can't get it sorted out, an experienced guy will probably figure it out right away.
I know that's what you're hoping and you're correct, somebody like Steve Lewis at Kahuna or Kneedragger and the other good folks that offer service to GTAM could diagnose your problem, and that's the key.
It's always wonderful to get a competent diagnosis from an old experienced guy who has no financial interest in the repair, heheh.
But remember, cost is no object...

Oh I am never selling this bike! lol I love this bike. I will get the good stuff when I can. I have my eyes on lots of goodies. I can only get 1 thing at a time. It sucks but that is my life. lol
 
Issue found! A slight ground wire issue. Just a slight bit of movement inside the wire harness side plug. Just enough play to make a bad connection. Thanks for the help again guys!
