Trickle charger for 2006 r6

So my buddy suggested that I go to Canadian tire to buy one. Which brand or model would be best?

Get yourself a battery tender junior for 35 bucks. most bike shops will stock them. you can plug it in and leave it for the winter as it is a battery charger/maintainer. Not sure if canadian tire sells maintainers or just trickle chargers that don't shut off automatically and will cook your battery if left too long.

make sure its a battery tender, and not just a trickle charger. With a good battery tender, you can set it and forget it.

or get performance battery, don't need to worry plug and unplug anymore, smaller and lighter
I know it's costly, but my battery is old enough to change anyway
