Anyone going this weekend? I will be there on Sunday with a buddy and I will be in green as it's my first actual trackday. Black and blue gixxer all black gear and helmet. Anyone there come say hi.

I'll be there on Sunday and possibly Monday with my DR-Z

I replied in the other thread under Road Racing (?), but I am hoping to come Sunday.

Trying for 1:25.x. I am on a mission.

Come and say hi - you can't miss the bike. Orange Ducati Sport Classic.

In for Sat, and my mission is 1:22. You won't hear me complaining if I do 1:20 though ;)

You should come on Sat too...my girlfriend and I will be there and shes bringing out our DR-Z, love seeing supermotos at TMP. May have to 'borrow' it for a session or two .

Wish I could, but I have an exam that morning. I'll be there again for the ride for sight event on the 24th.

I'll head out on Sunday to take photos and watch you all have fun.

Edit:

So I tried on my one piece and it still fits LOL

So now I am thinking could I do this track day also?

I saw that there is an intro to track course on Saturday, but I have to work:(
I have only the Sunday off.

This would be my first 'track day'
I did take Phase 1 from FAST (albeit 4 years ago) but enjoyed it immensely, so would it be OK for this newbie to come on out, or is experience preferred?

I've checked the tech inspection requirements and know what to do to prep my bike.

if the track part doesn't pan out, I'll still ride out to take photos :)

^ Just sign up for green and ask one of the more experienced riders to show you around the first session or two.

^^thanks :)

and I will be taking up any offers of assistance and appreciate the offers.

I'm super excited now, in the process of prepping my bike, so there's no turning back!!

GWB has control riders, or you can ask any of the red riders. We were all there once, at our first track day. The first few sessions of green are slightly above street pace. GWB will take you for 2 control laps in the first green session, showing you how to get on the track safely, how to exit the track safely, and the proper line to take. Don't be afraid to ask the organizers (Donald, Chris, etc) for a control rider to show you the proper line after this session, they are more than happy to do so.

Myself, a buddy, and Chimera will be pitted together so if you see any of us out there and have some pointers for any of us feel free to come shoot the sh*t and any advice is appreciated.

Didn't look in the roadracing forum before posting. I have seen your vids so I'll keep an eye out and wave to the camera as you pass me.

prepping the bike is half the fun :D

Feel free to stop by my place and I will let you have even more fun.
