Tires question

Hi everyone,

I have a 2005 Honda CBR 600RR which has always had Pirelli Diablo Corsa III tires. It's time for me to change the tires and just wondering what tire recommendations you guys might have. From what I understand the tires I have now are more geared for track riding. I don't track so if there is a better tire for street day-to-day riding with longer life and good grip when wet then I'd probably prefer that :)

Here are my tire sizes: 120/70ZR 17 & 180/55ZR 17.

Thanks for any help!

Pirelli Angels. I sound like a broken record.

Not even expensive

You don't track, but do you corner aggressively on the street at all?

If you do, I would go with Dunlop Q3's. I have 3500km on them on my rsv4 and they are wearing at half the rate of the Metzler k3 I had previously. I estimate 10000km with some pretty aggressive riding mixed in there. One note on the Dunlop, It has a much stiffer carcass then those Pirelli's your on now, which took some getting used to.

If you only meander around looking at the birds, trees and ponds, then yeah a Michelin Pilot Road's or Pirelli Angel's would be a good choice

Bridgeston S20s. About 7000 kms on my 1000 and they still have a bit to go. I'd probably bet another set when this one is due for replacement.
