Tire question

Just because something fits in your rear, doesn't mean you should put it there.

That's not what she said :D

Thanks ks for the replies folks. Price didn't matter nor is it all that different but I think I'll stick to the 180

Of course if you have one of those silly 250 bikes, or anything with <160 rear tire you should try to stuff at least a 160 tire in the back. Those 140's can't corner, never mind drag a knee.

Yep. Bike is 8 weeks old to me today actually. Without starting the argument... I hate these Bridgestones. Last year it was nicer earlier and I melted front and rear down in 6100 km. These at least made it to 8500 km. Back to Michelin I go.

YOU'VE PUT 8500 KMS IN 2 MONTHS???? I took a whole season to do that!...lol

Yeah. Doesn't take long. Last year April to June I was over 13k. This year I'll probably hit somewhere around 25k I hope. Bought it to ride it ;)

Hate when people go with a wider tire because it looks cooler... Just get what ur bike is suppose to have

I had a 200 on my 600. It isn't to look cool, higher profile tire will help you turn.

Roomie for street, stay with 180! but if you got a good deal then go with the 190, ok either way.

Just remember it will rise your profile in the rear but you might not even notice it

It's 30 dollars difference but I think I'll just keep the 180. I just wasn't sure if there was advantages to the 190.

That's a 200 on my 600 (yellow bike on the left) no one will notice the size, they all look alike. Just a matter of preference. If I could do it over I would have stayed with the 180

Huge lack of them these days. I am providing a public service. Paul should pay me dividends. Kinda funny how much I can fabulate and people still argue. #punked

you won't feel much of difference. It won't screw up your geometry or the balance of the bike. I go back and forth from a 180 - 190 on a regular basis, wherever I can get a deal.
