but I recall some time ago I think it a BF Goodrich put color into a tire lines tread. If I remember correctly, burnouts produced colored smoke
 
Motorcycling's not on the ropes, clearly demonstrated by this flurry of decorative genius.
 
Good for the Timmy's parking lot, but I'm sure the paint will creep to the tread and affect your traction on the road.
 
Small price to pay for style. Ask any HD rider.
 
This has been around at least since I started riding 6 years ago.
 
If you ride your bike hard enough. I find it hard to believe that paint will remain for more than a few days

Was a fad about a decade ago. As long as the paint is only on the very bottom of the groove, it's won't be a problem.
