Tire balancing

How important is it on a duel sport, bike is being riden mosty back roads and trails. The reason I ask is because the bike shops around here want 50 bucks to mount a tire.

Easy to do yourself with 2 jack stands and a bar. Heavy point will go to the bottom.

No point on a trails bikes. I don't even bother balancing the rear on my street bike either.

Balancing tires is easy if you know how to get the wheel off your bike.
You can whip up a simple balance stand with scrap wood, and a level floor or workbench. Takes some patience, but it's not rocket surgery.

Dual sports have heavy treads compared to regular street tires. Balance is important for long-term tire life and high speed riding.
