I don't have the cash to flip cars and bikes like the OP, but...
My philosophy is that, for performance or exotic-ness per $$$, bikes are way better investments than cars.
A Ducati 1198 (or whatever superbike you want) isn't really THAT much money. Probably less than the upgrade cost from the WRX to the STi.
So long as I ride motorbikes, I'll continue to buy and keep so-so cars and preferentially spend on the bikes.
Granted, it's your $$$.
Friends have had three or four (much nicer) cars in the span of time I've had my '01 Accord.
