Teenage Head Riot Anniversary

This week is the 45th anniversary of the infamous Teenage Head Riot at Ontario Place in 1980. Any other survivors out there? Maybe we could start a support group. Man, I’m starting to feel old.

No, but I was at the Alice Cooper riot that same year.
Afterwards, they started zip tying the folding chairs together.

There use to be some great shows at the Ontario Place Forum that you could see for next to nothing, gotta love that revolving stage. Those were the days.
 
I have TH to thank for my first glance of "side boob".
It's 1978. Gaoler is about 12-13 years old.. delivering the toronto star like he did every day after school.
Part of his route was in a tall apartment building... On this day, every time Gaoler went into the stairwell to decend a floor he could hear the laughter and giggling of at least two. Maybe three... girls.
This day was also the day of a TH show at a local high school... in retrospect Gaoler figured out these teenaged girls had probably told their parents they were going to the library to study, but instead they were in the stairwell changing into their slutty little outfits to go to the show.. the scent of Aqua-net was heavy in the air...

That's when young Gaoler walked in on them and that's when he saw his first side boob and maybe. Just maybe a teeny tiny bit of nip'.

Gaoler often wonders where those three hussies are now... 'Bless them.

Where was the apartment building? Maybe we can track them down. Chances are you’ll be very disappointed.
