Technical riding course with Riding Institute - worth it?

Took it three years ago in the rain, learned a lot. Class size was good; 1 instructor six riders. I personally prefer the sharp rider training course. I took sharp rider's course one, two (twice), and a skills day or two. Real fun environment, lots of instructors, improved my riding drastically.

That sharp rider course looks good, but its also quite expensive... I'll consider it though.

Took it as well. Pushes your skillset quite a bit.

No one takes these courses really unless they want to know a higher degree of control.

And lets face it...not many want that.

I guess because the "loud pipes.. " mantra ?

Wouldn't know... I've been trying to contact RTI for over a month. Voice mails, web forms, registration at the bike shows... seems like they are out of business and forgot to take the phones down. Haven't received one response. Oh well, I signed up with a Learning Curves course instead.

Any course you can take where you'll learn even one thing you didn't know is well worth it imo :dontknow:

Many learn to ride to work and back and are okay with that.

Been there, was forced to take a course once that I thought was useless, 90% of it was, but I still learned at least something new.

I just registered my GF @ RTI. They have been communicative and responsive.

And very nice of them to let her reschedule her classes after she dumped a cbr125 in the first two hours and lunched the crank case.
