Tank pads

Bought tank pads from Aliexpress. Comes with what looks like 2 sided tape. Only the white side peels away to expose a sticky glued surface. The red side doesn't have anything to peel off and there is nothing in the back of the rubber pad. Ideas?

So what's the purpose of the red pads? To make pad thicker? Really sticky on the back of red so you can peel off and replace black with red still attached?

Daughter fixed. The red is peelable leaving a thick clear adhesive. I'm impatient.

Was going to say that the red will be peel-able. 3M Usually has the red.

Ya, just the side. My Enduristan tank bag has heavy straps that rub on the sides.

Ok I was looking into some for the Tiger, but it came with 3 and I already have a good middle one.
