Most insurance companies don't like writing theft only policies anymore. The paperwork required for the minimal money isn't worth it (and people would ride them anyway, crash and expect liability coverage). If you can get it, it's a good idea, but I expect the locked storage unit will be the way forward.

They don't let you put theft only on a motorcycle. You'd have to put comprehensive on it.

Apparently you can't even get just comprehensive, well at least not with Jevco now Intact Insurance. I would need to get at least liability. I just need to get the bike out of there.

I am also going to see if there are any cameras in place in the condo that may have seen something.
