Damn that came down pretty hard.

All the way from Mansfield to Brampton then it cleared.

Saw some sports bike riders ahead of me on 17 - such a shame gorgeous road and wet :(.

Finally got really wet put my rain pants on as well.

Most gear worked okay cept still have a leak around the neck on the iCon jacket.

T-storm was beside me on the 403 but beat it home by 10 minutes - just rollng through now.

Was surprisingly nice earlier.

I got hit hard. Was trying to out run it. But mother nature wouldnt allow that.

Also learned that if you constantly have frog toggs rain gear, in and out of a tailbag regulary. The folds turn to creases which inturn let all the water in.

I did just put on some pilot road 2's on last week.. These things are incredible in the rain.

Were you part of the group corner of 17 and 18 ( Mansfield )....

Bet they got wet.

That particular amount of deluge was certainly a good test of gear.
Gonna see if I can get the iCon hood inside the helmet tomorrow - might be running down the back of the helmet but seemed to be somewhere around my neck was getting in.
Gloves worked okay ( love the grip heaters in the rain, boots were perfect as well as the rain pants.....
ICon acket around the top needs some figuring out. It is fully waterproof unlike the Froggs which breath.....but it's not sealing around the neck :(

I took it easy as it just started to rain on the nicest twisty part of 17 and I'm not fond of what I have one ....loved the Metzlers in the rain ( and anywhere ) but sold them with the bike.

The other Burgman riders have been extolling Shinkos for price performance. Will wait til next season to decide.

Having the tunes playing was nice - few idjit cagers without their lights on were annoying.
Couple times it was a bit hard to see with all the spray but nothing serious;
Had a good day and 45 min of rain did not spoil it.

I was coming back from a London-Niagara-London trip. I swear the same cloud followed me the whole way home, just laughing at me.

Almost got caught in it. Supposed to clear up later tonight then going out for a late night run...

Yeah you would have been tracking that for sure.

It does look nice out tonight and I do like riding after the rain - we'll see if the mesh dries. But likely done for the day.

I had the longest 10 minute ride ever. Got to the gas station, filled up, saw a huge black cloud, started heading home (to beat the storm), and got pounded.

I got back just in time. It started raing when I was out last night, but I was close to home, so only got a few pecks. I carry a rain suit though, just in case. Although, I really don't want to be riding on wet roads.
