suggestions of gps mount

The mount won't really be for a GPS but its really for my speedometer.

I have a streetfighter in the works, which is an 03 636.

I need to mount my speedometer somewhere and I figured the best place would be the top of the triple tree.

Like so.

Heres an idea of the size of the speedo, it probably a bit bigger than your average GPS.

I have a few thin metal strips I can try to adjust and use but I'm hoping a GPS mount will provide the mounting hardware.

Can anyone link me to a RAM mount that would work in this application or does anyone have any experience with an GPS mounts that mounts to the triple?


I know I already have to relocate the ignition switch.

Also other suggestions welcome.

Can't help you with the mount, but I'd be interested to see a build thread of your project...

That clamp (with wing nut) comes in various lengths.
I have two of them. One for a camera (longer), and one for my Zumo (shorter). Maybe you could find a short one @ GPS City? I don't have time to look right now.

I have that ram mount. You can have it for free!
 
The short arm, you can grab at radio world. You can also get a square base instead of diamond or something.
