A little extra air cooling so it doesn't overheat.

Always a bit funny when the pictures they use in the ad are the pictures they took the day they bought it

Had one guy list a bike for sale months after he bought it from me... with the pictures he took INSIDE of my house (I stored it in a spare room I record some videos in over the winter when he had come to see it). Did not appreciate that :\

Looks like they upgraded from pizza box seat to metal tractor seat.

Actually... is that an upgrade?

PS: It's a 50. The speedometer on the 50s only went up to 80 because the bike only went up to about 65. The 150s would show I think up to 120 km/hr on the speedos, which lead some either greasy-or-idiot sellers to say their 150cc Vespe were capable of doing 120.... It happens a lot.

It can't? I mean the speedometer topping out at 120 is a strong clue, but then what do the 150s top out at?

My 2010 Vespa S150 never got over 100 km/hr.

11.4 hp on the carb'd ones and 11.7 hp on the injected ones (2010 was a transition year)...

And yes... since the hp are barely out of single digits, we count the decimal points lol

I really loved that bike though. It was slow without ever feeeeling slow... in the sense of, you would ride it with no gears (automatic cvt), so you're basically either 100% wide open throttle, or 100% brakes. It was a lot of fun.

The only thing that felt slow was braking, especially with a passenger... Definitely had to leave more room as the tiny little front disk and the rear drum brake were the same setup as what the 50cc got, despite the 50 being a lot slower...
