Stolen 2009 R6 Black and Gold Watch out guys

That's why at my condo I park farther from the entrance than the Ducati, R1 and Harley lol.

Not to mention it's behind a grid of 2" solid metal bars with a kevlar covering behind it and my prox sensor turned up to max

Sorry to hear that was a really nice bike, love that colour scheme. People/Thieves use any information to track down a bike thats why you should not list your real Postal Code or location, well I dont do it maybe I am just paranoid.

I hope you luck out and can recover it. Keep us posted!

Assuming you had insurance, work with insurance to get as money back as possible. If you have receipts for any extra work you had done on it, send it to them and spend your energy getting as much money back from your insurance company as possible. Forget about the bike- it's gone for good and you will not see it again. This is coming from someone who's been there. Good luck.

If you didn't have theft ins- you're screwed. Hard lesson learned. But you still got your arms, legs and health. Materialistic possessions will come and go in your life.

Sorry OP... but had to define: dugging

[TABLE="width: 475"]
[TR]
[TD="class: text, colspan: 2"]A sexual act where the man is on top and then suddenly moves up and positions his knees so that they are pinning the womens arms down. This leaves her defenseless to the onslaught of jizz that is about to ensue when the man proceeds to thoroughly coat her face with baby batter.

Bonus points for yelling "Dig Dug!" and pounding your chest when finished.

"Dude, I totally dig dugged that chick last night. She fought it but she was no match for my manaise."

If people called 911 over a stolen bike they would get reamed out. 911 is for emergencies, not stolen vehicles. You call the local police for that directly.

Also looking back at your posts here i see you mentioned the ad for selling the bike a few days ago. I'm starting to think posting ad's here, then also on kijiji and listing your location, even if it's just the general area is risky, as the thieves could be on here, and by using that info, and scouring old posts could learn more about your location.

I would not doubt at all that thieves are on this very forum and use it to mine info on possible bikes to steal. They probably even go to some of the meets and rides. It would be like shopping trips for them to scope out what people have. Be careful how much you disclose on here. If you post photos of your bike, take them in a spot other than where you live or normally park it. Don't have anything behind the bike that could help them identify your parking spot, house, driveway etc.. And if you post about hooking up for rides etc.. same thing, never give your exact location. The internet is just making things much easier for the scumbags.

And be careful posting photos from a smartphone... GPS location data is often embedded.

In an earlier post i pointed out how thieves could use info from forums like this to help track down bikes to steal. It also has occurred to me that people wishing to pull insurance scams could use it in a similar way.

Not accusing the OP of this thread of this, but think about it.. You need to get rid of your bike, it's insured for theft, so you post an ad for sale. Then a few days later it's stolen....

Then you claim to have security footage showing a vehicle and plate number, and it matches a vehicle and plate that was posted on this forum not too long ago in the past as stealing another bike... that seems legit.. same thieves! But really you just got that plate number from here in the forum..

So you present that to the insurance agent as proof that it was stolen by this theft ring and if they checked with cops the cops would confirm that plate/vehicle had been reported stealing bikes before. The only thing is if you tried to pull that i am pretty sure they would want to see your actual video footage too, not just take your word for it or your word that you witnessed it and plate says what you claim it did.

Anyway i would be watching kijiji but not for that bike in it's complete shape anymore. Watch for the parts. Today i see a 2005 R6 engine for sale on there that says it also fits a 2006. Thieves might post stuff an alter dates to diguise it a little. So they may do similar with the '09 and list it as an '08 or something.

+ one on police needing to get 'mole' bikes for sale that will be trackable with a certain signature that thieves couldnt think of checking (like radioactive or what not)

and then put a few of these bikes on sale on kijiji.
would cost a lot at first but would pay itself back insurance and hours investigation and all that jazz.

im sure its already been thought as im not genius but hey... we gotta do sumtin

Too bad the insurance company will probably give him nowhere near what he wanted for the bike.

Ya right!
They will give the over inflated prices in Kijiji, Craigs list etc, minus the $500 deductible.

There have been others on here that have then gone to the usa and bought bikes and pocketed the difference.
