Passed yesterday at age 68 of a heart attack. Possibly the most versatile racer in AMA history, wins in AMA MX, Supercross and Superbike. A prominent name in Wide World of Sports "Superbikers". He retired in `83 after being badly injured in two crashes at Road America and Laguna Seca. He felt his biggest achievement was becoming an ordained minister in his retirement, he followed what he felt he was meant to do, touching the lives of many. Rest in Peace Steve.
