He actually does ride in real life. I remember seeing him on Leno [or perhaps some other late night talk show] talking about how he rides all the time and has actually fallen asleep while riding before. Woke up about 10 feet or so from assing a transport truck [or funny enough as he would call it, a laurie]

That's awesome!! I'm a big fan of Hugh Laurie. He's actually really talented. He writes and makes his own music too. Some of the music you see on house is his own work.
