If cops wanted to enforce speeding, now's the time. Most people know the camera is down and speeds will probably be up. No cops means they really don't care about the speeding and it is pure revenue generation.I drove by this location yesterday. The chopped of camera has NOT been replaced yet.
iirc most of the contracts state the business pay the cost of replacement, not the taxpayer.Maybe the people vandalizing them are the same persons who are responsible for replacing and servicing them?
I don't believe that. That is just the way they word it. Someone is paying.iirc most of the contracts state the business pay the cost of replacement, not the taxpayer.
that's what im saying, the business they 'lease?' the cameras from are paying. I'm sure they pad the lease agreement to offset the cost, so technically we probably paid in advance.I don't believe that. That is just the way they word it. Someone is paying.
Not all heroes wear capes. One near my house is spray painted every time i drive by it! Last week someone parked a car infront of it all day!

Where?There’s one near your house?!
checks mailbox nervously for the next several months
You must not live where I live because we have several.Where?
I wasn't aware we had one.
I know you have at least one also drive by it several times. At the top of the mountain. You must not live where I live because we have several.
Kinda surprised they mentioned the other camera, but that one would take some more effort considering the height it is placed.Parkside is back up along with a security camera to watch over it. It was nice of them to publicize this and show where the surveillance camera is located. If you're happy to cut down one camera, you're probably happy to cut down two. Hopefully they aren't that dumb and that's a decoy with another camera hidden.

A little but probably not too hard. Throw a rope over, choke the arm and pull hard. It's a couple steel straps designed to hold a camera up. I don't give them much of a chance. Breaking that camera starts the clock though. I would hope that there is an alarm at the command centre when the signal is lost.Kinda surprised they mentioned the other camera, but that one would take some more effort considering the height it is placed.

These law enforcement people have a hard time catching any type of criminal. but hey this is something they can really dig their chops into.Parkside is back up along with a security camera to watch over it. Well to be fair, this is happening consistently at 1 location. It's kinda easy for them to dig in.These law enforcement people have a hard time catching any type of criminal. but hey this is something they can really dig their chops into.
exactly my point. but will they?Well to be fair, this is happening consistently at 1 location. It's kinda easy for them to dig in.
