soooo... ever seen this before?

return can and see if you can just purchase the replacement can for the full system. This is way easier than you're making it out to be.

okaaaay... i was hoping i wouldnt have to update on this thread because that would mean everything went smoothly, but, alas....

so swingarms replaced, all is good with the bike, EXCEPT this:

instead of shelling out the 3-400 for a sleeve repair kit and repack (which was backordered 2 months from parts canada), I decided hey I will just get that lovely shorty carbon fiber can I always wanted but was WAY too expensive when I was pricing out my full system... going on a few people's advice, a slip-on will fit just fine, right?

WRONG.

I get my new beautiful slip on... the problem is - they are designed to go on a STOCK system, not my existing full Akra... I'm looking at the schematics of my system and the new shorty system. .headers are the same (obv), the collector set are the same, the problem happens on the next piece... by the looks of these pics, the full system can comes with a long pipe that joins from 1 to 2 (into the collector set)

the slip on, well it doesnt come with this piece.. and this piece doesnt appear to have a part number?

I am asking for a lot here, but can anyone help me out? I will try calling Parts Canada to explain this but I have serious doubts as to their ability to help me, and short of cutting and welding to make this work... I might be up ****'s creek. And no, I'm not installing my old stock stainless system to make this work (I KNOW someone is going to suggest that.)

Attached are schematics for the slip on, my existing full evo system (with big can) and the full evo system with shorty can so you can get an idea of what I'm talking about. I hope I'm just missing some thing really obvious, which as you know from the beginning of the thread, certainly is possible, lawl.

Can you swap out the parts from the old and new pipes? You may need to do some riveting, but thats not a big deal
