Some advice and a bit of help

Hello everybody,

I wanted to ask for some advice. I have been riding since 2005 till 2008 on a M2 license and then moved to Europe. In that time i got my motorcycle license there and my license in Canada expired.

Now I want to continue riding here and want to know how to do it in the easiest way. Do I have to go back and do M1-M2 and then full M or is there a way to expedite this?

Thank you for all the info.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Ivan

I'm not sure but there should be a way to use your European license to get an M, I would contact the service Ontario and find out. Welcome back!

if you are coming from a country other than Switzerland, you must as pass a written test that tests your knowledge of motorcycles and traffic signs. if you have proof of 2 or more yrs of driving experience, you take the level 2 test and earn an M license. If you don't pass the test you get the M1 and can immediately schedule the M1 exit test.

If you have less than 2yrs of experience, you get an M1 and can schedule the M1 exit immediately.

If you are coming from Switzerland, and have 2-3 yrs experience, you can get a full m license without doing any testing. If you have <2 yrs then you get a M2 license.

All of the above is with a valid European license as proof.
