Good-bye tusty 250, you have served me well.

Hellooooo VFR 800!

Holy crap this thing is fast! :D

congrats on the new ride, very very nice bikes and one of my favourite designs for a sport bike. Of course your ride does not really exist unless you post pictures. What year?

Congrats, I love my 06. Depending on what year you bought check and make sure the recalls were done.

If you find the vtech engagement too abrupt I have some sweet power commander maps that will smooth her out for ya ;)

i love those. Probably the best all around STREET bike imo.

If or when you decide you want luggage, If you can't find any locally for sale look into David silver spares out of the UK, way cheaper than getting them over here even with shipping.

Thanks for the tip! Checked out the site last night. Some good stuff on there!

It defintely takes off flying when that v-tech engages, but it's not so bad. From what I had read about the bike, I thought it would be worse that it was.
v-tech seems to come on at around 7500 rpm

Guys on vfrworld and vfrdiscussion have been getting sidecases for around $600 shipped from DSS. I bought a full set off ebay UK that cost me $1100 for all 3 bags, shipping and taxes included.

Shipping speed is ridiculous too, my bags arrived here in 4 days, a day before paypal took the money out of my account lol.

It's more like 6600 rpm.
