Look at it like this if tables were turned that person probably wouldn't think twice about suing... just saying..Not to mention that what if years to come you have problems with your foot again? chances are it would be from the accident

Sorry but I was almost killed by drunk driver when i was in a car .. I didn't sue and 4 years later now having problems :sad:. He was a drunk driver that alone he should suffer.....

Drunk drivers are terrible.

Aunt and uncle were in a car crash with a drunk driver the police were chasing. Driver hit them head on. Aunt killed instantly. Uncle shattered his legs and damaged his spine. Killed himself a few years later. The drunk driver was completely unharmed.

An experience that made me very angry was when I was in traffic court for a speeding ticket once. There was a guy there that had numerous drunk driving charges, numerous driving with a suspended license charges (since he kept driving after losing his license for being drunk so many times), numerous charges for driving without insurance. The latest one he was in for was for being caught for all 3 at once. He had also racked up about $30 000 in unpaid fines. The judge simply said the guy already owed too much money and had been punished enough times that any more punishment or fines would be ineffective and just dropped all the charges and sent him home. It was ridiculous.

:angry1: So basically the cops should let known repeat offenders go, rather than waste their time, the courts time, and our money, prosecuting the individual. What a great system we have.
Next step should have been jail time. Serious jail time.
