Snake road SIU investigation

Read the piece this morning. Was prepared to be outraged. Instead was confused but not enough to lash out in anger. Maybe next time.

Rider is a member here.
Be interesting to hear the story from him. If there's any court cases coming up for him I assume we won't hear it for a while.

WTF? Talk about giving no info...

More info and a video of the "aftermath" here: http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum/showthread.php?170584-Rider-down-on-Snake-Rd

Non-legalese speak of the media release would be the cruiser pulled up behind the bike to run the plate. Rider got startled/distracted? Crash ensued. I didn't notice any damage to the cruiser when I passed by, so I don't think there was any contact/collision between the two. That's my take anyway.

Waiting to hear from the member, whoever he/she is.

@Paul: It's up to the SIU to provide a press-release now. As soon as they're involved, the Police usually don't release any more info than what is absolutely necessary.

The SIU is not obligated to release any info to the general public about their investigations. The report goes directly to the Attorney General of Ontario and limited summary of the investigation release to the victim and/or his or her family.

Looks like the other thread got cleaned up a bit, so here's the video I posted:
