Small round brake/tail lights

I'm looking for a couple of small round integrated brake and tail lights for a project I'm working on.

They need to be fairly small, between 1->1.5 inches in diameter and I would prefer LED but a regular filament bulbs will work OK. There is lots of stuff on line but the smallest I can find is around 2.5 inches.

I don't need it to illuminate the plate as I can use a couple of LED license plate bolts.

Has anyone ever come across something in this size?

You may encounter some difficulty. There's a minimum illuminated size requirement in the motor vehicle standards for stop and turn signal functions. I don't recall what the number is, but 5 square inches sounds about right (corresponds to around 2.5 inches diameter).

It's pretty easy to find small marker lamps, but there's no tail/brake function (different brightness) on those.
 
Thanks Brian. I wasn't aware of that.

My maximum width is 4.5 inches so I may end up going with a rectangular one.

I bought a set of these. Decent looking. They are 2.5 inches.
