Happy to entertain some suggestions....

Huntsville toward Petawawa - for instance we could drift east staying south of Algonquin.

looks interesting. How long is this trip?
I have the week of the 12th off and was planning to take a riding trip as well, maybe I can take this same route.

Don't have it exactly as I have not added them all up

About 500 km to Petawawa

looks like 600 km the second day ending in LaChute - those are fairly winding roads so don't know if that is doable....we have some opt out points and nothing booked for the second night so are flexible.

LaChute to Toronto is 556 via slab

What a gorgeous day
600k and some totally random back roads just south of algonquin thanks to the TomTom max windy choice
Kid was having a hoot

No rain. Just windy and mostly behind us tho once in a while we were just behind the rain
Sweet day made up for slogging up the slab to get past barrie

then two tired riders had to negotiate a long covered bridge with raised tracks 3 planks wide.
Not the toughest thing once going but was right into the sun glinting off the river it crossed - some cool pics of it.

but here's a pro's version

and that was exactly the kind of day it was except we played dodge em with a lighting storm as we pulled out of Pembroke after supper - fortunately our cute inn was far enough east.

and of course we had to cross the covered bridge to reach it.
WIfi - lovely setting and just what we needed tho trekking up 3 floors with new riding pants trying fall off was less than thrilling.

tart pig out

happy kid - this was about 450 km in and the last bit he was playing hooligan on some very iffy roads

Tired him out - he slept about 10 hours solid. :D
Gorgeous if cold morning 12 - so breakfast and relax a bit.

1500 KM and just the ride to home from Irwin Inn at Stoney Lake
Quebec Route 327 was a treat - started rough - got glorious - smooth twists then gnarly with the slippiest tar snakes ever.....they even had a sign up with a bike sliding sideways ( should have taken a pic have never seen that before )
Kid was having a ball but had to tiptoe in that section....weird looking - some sort of white coating on them.
Every time your wheel touched the tire squirmed.

Then back into boring but pretty Ontario back roads then slogged a busy 7 towards Stoney Lake - dodging deer ( at close quarters but no speed ) on the final stretch at dusk.
Kid is now set on a VFR800 - figures the seating has to be better than the SV650sf - he was quite glad to see a ensuite Jacuzzi

Dodged a bit of rain and a couple of loonie end of holiday weekend drivers.
Covered some new ground for me.
Will go back to the Mount Tremblant area to ride again.

Lovely day all around...
