Hi.......I have a 1978 GL1000 with a Vetter fairing. I need the rubber dust cover that slides over the base and connector of the halogen bulb in the 7" headlight pod. It's about 2" in diameter, and about 1" deep, and probably weighs 2 oz. Bike Bandit wanted $5.00 for the part and, get this, $38.00 to ship it to me in Ontario. Has anybody any idea where I could get one without mortgaging my house?

Try a google search on the part number listed on the BB site and see what that yields you.

What about a Goldwing forum - are you on one of those? Maybe another member sells an aftermarket product that can be shipped for less. Good luck

Bike Bandit doesn't list the Honda part numbers, they list their own proprietary part numbers, so the Google search shouldn't yield any useful links.
