Brand new rider in the Mississauga area looking for some nice routes to ride to get some practice and build some confidence, not looking for any real high traffic areas right away
Any suggestions would be great
Thanks

Brand new being the critical point here. I'll make it simple. Have you done your basic parking lot run to get acquainted with the bike, clutch, brakes and throttle?

After that, while you build confidence, stick with your own neighbourhood for a couple of rides, and then slowly branch out to surrounding major roads in your area. Who cares if they are not "nice, twisty riding roads." Your neighbourhood and surrounding major roads should be very familiar to you - leading to less surprises. Where the rough spots are, blind corners, tight turns, sketchy intersections, pot holes, etc..

IMO, this would be a safest way to build confidence and then just keep branching out from there..

How about Mississauga Rd? Take it from Lakeshore as far north as you want. Easy speed limit, not a lot of traffic, a few gentle curves here and there and good pavement for the most part.

^this +1

Start with parking lot and stick to known roads before venturing into new routes... Having a company will also help if you prefer. PM me if you need company.

Ride safe!
