Is there such plan? If there is, what do you guys recommend? I'm a new rider and i dont want to be stuck somewhere if my bike is broken down.

What mikbusa said, CAA Plus. Good deal considering what you're getting. Something like $70 -$90 a year (I can't remember).

More like $113+tax=128. Worth mentioning that in GTA, CAA subcontract MotoLimo to move our bikes, which is a huge plus in my books.

Is it strictly for bikes only or can i use it for car? If its the later, its pretty good.

CAA plus is for motorcycle + car. It's you that has the CAA coverage, not the vehicle. In effect, you can get CAA assistance when you breakdown while a passenger in a buddy's vehicle

Make perfect sense, I understood now

Thanks.

Currently have CAA+ -- cheap at twice the price for peace of mind whlie touring -- esp. in US.

But that Costco deal looks interesting -- while CAA+ is cheap at twice the price -- happy to pay half!

Will be looking into the Costco coverage! Thanks!

I have CAA plus and used it a couple of weeks ago but could have used the next one up.
Would have saved a $100 motel bill.

I use CAA Plus. Discounts at hotels are great, plus the option to tow 200km, 4 locksmith services and maps galore are awesome. I don't take advantage of all the services, but it is nice knowing the option is there in the event of an emergency.

you also get free gas with CAA+ across Canada. Saved me a few times running out of gas especially at the base of the Rocky Mountains.

turns out CAA recognized my woes and gave me a full year of Premiere and refunded the $44 US tow charge.
:D

+1 for CAA plus.

I don't know if I have a limit on toes but last year I did 3. Would've been a lot more expensive if I didn't have the membership =/

4 calls per year

+1 for CAA Plus. Used it once for a jump start (left direct wired heated grips on while parked at work) and once for a tow. Told them it was bike and they sent a flatbed with a proper bike support. Didn't try to hang it off the back of a tow truck!
