Anyone around the track knew Ralf. He races sprint bikes since the mid nineties, was the president of the VRRA for many years. Took up sidecar driving in the 2000s. Lately raced on the ice in cars and started restoring vintage cars. Many racers bought out of province health insurance from him over the years. He and I had our momments both off and on the track but he was a good man who loved our sport.
