Ring of Repugnance

When cows poop in a field they will not eat the grass immediately next to the poop, keeping a set distance away from it. This is refered to as a ring of repugnance.
After about 3000 miles of riding down to Mississippi and back I have become sensitive to a ring of repugnance about 50 miles around Toronto because of the Crap drivers.

Heheheheheh :D! Is it like that each time you get close to a major city, or just our our replulsive GTA cow patty?

I think this happens a lot more than you might think, where I live the largest roads are one lane in each direction with the exception of route 81. when I talk to fellow riders from closer to the NYC area (Buy the way I am much close to Toronto than NYC) they do not ride in the city or too work, but instead ride more in my direction, away from the heavy traffic area's.

When I rode Vancouver to Toronto last year, I could feel the attitude and aggression start to build as far out as Blind River. I think it's a Southern Ontario thing, not just GTA.

I got back from Vancouver last week. Only time I flipped off a driver or got into any car wars in more than 10,ooo kms was within 50 kms of home. And it happened three times in that 50 kms.
