Does anyone know whether there is anyone in the Durham or surrounding area that performs good rim repair for a minor bend on the outside lip? Thanks much

Nearly all the places that used to do it don't do it anymore. The only place i know of that still does it is Maximum Cycle in London and for the price you can get a good used wheel off the interwebs.

try universal welding in stoney creek... i've seen rims in there before...

i used rim king in toronto, 401& 400 area. they fixed my rim for 250$ where as a new bmw rim is 1300$. i told ted we should use them from now on. i was vary happy with the work done. i had to pull the bearings, rotors and tires/valve stem.
