Damn 15c and dropping ....made strategic errors...did not close doors to the bedroom and did not put the small light on which always keeps the room a bit warmer. Glad I bought the Dyson heater for $50 ...looks neat and works the charm. $3-400 jobby ....just needed a $20 remote. Knew I'd need it.

In the past I could count on the Intel laptop for quick heat ...the new Macs simply don't heat up. Partners M1 Air does not even have a fan.

Down to 14 outside inside holding at 20 ...that's okay. Glad I closed the shutter.

Partner reported a "feels like" 9.
Single digits actual coming - the wind has a bite even during the day. Time to haul out the Itchy Boots hoodie.....that's my warmest top, not sure about the long johns.

Last late night it was down to 12 feels like 9...now it's 19 at 2.20 am outside and 21.5 inside....and I have WAAAAAAY too many layers on - especially the long johns.

World Cup is over so no need for early morning wake ups.
I still get up at midnight anyway to have a pee and do Wordle and sometimes like tonight some extra food.
Did not eat much for supper so had couple pieces of PB&J toast + tea and some smoked oysters....feel fed now but quite awake.

Getting my first aging evaluation tomorrow ...it's about an hour assessment which is free to those over 75 and suggested to be annual.
Nurse does the testing then the doc evaluates.

I'm hungry. KFC has a good deal on for $8. Arrived - waited and waited - checked at counter - not in their system

This will be lunch and supper ...lot of food for $8 all in
Dog will like the fries. Chicken burger fills me up - Pepsi and 2 x Tenders for later and like their choco dessert

The KFC guy gave me an extra tender - just had three tenders it for supper. Good deal and the dog loved the fries.
I don't know if I can get a second combo today - could ride out for it and keep til tomorrow, Cheap meals.
