Lot of traffic and it's Anzac Day.
Village in the Rainforest lived up to the rainforest bit with a tiny shower.
Sun out again. Pigging on bratwurst and generous saurkraut and fried onions.
Went to pay and the owner waved me off. I've be going there regularly since 2011 and the food is always tasty.
His mum is still working there everyday - she’s 92

Napped earlier, super small supper, midnight snack in order tho I had few sea salt chips. There is sourdough raisin bread in the pantry which the ants were after.
A trip to the furnace aka toaster will show them...little extra added protein.

Resolved my fry pan dilemma. Ended up with a high end Tfal coated hand me down that could be classified as a lethal weapon it's so heavy. From dottor in law. DINKs with high salaries and no kids so we get useful, expensive hand me downs. ( Qantas captain and Sheraton Hotels director ). We will likely get an off lease Tesla next year. :giggle:

Partner approved and dishwasher tolerant so peace is kept....and for free as fits our pension income which is eroding far too quickly.

Korean Wings at the bowls club this noon. 🍽️(y)
Nope - closed Mondays...tomorrow then.

Decent sleep but rainy blustery day. Watching science videos and keeping dawgs company.

Lazy tonight

Topic came up on another forum about late night hours.

I got used to 40 years of working from home and especially when working remotely from South Africa or Australia navigating both time zones and even dates.
Staff could handle the normal day to day biz and I'd deal with the off hours stuff. Many graphics arts and music clients were night owls as well....few 9-5.
Client did this original cartoon based on an actual 3 am event ..the details make me laugh every time I open it.

.......

On a bit of a good Wordle roll here and double badge - all green and a birdie.

Australian brand and even better ventilated than what I have. Looks in good nick.
$40 hard to pass up. Just need to ride to the shop with no jacket on. 3xL Australian should fit.

Feeling much better after a hard afternoon feeling like I'd been in a car crash with whiplash...I hurt in a lot of places, mostly shoulders and neck.- could hardly get out of bed. Only now with good drug mix, of Panadol and Celebrex do I feel normal - a solid early eveninig sleep certainly helped.
Doc gave me a clean bill of health and replaced the butterfly clips on the wound. Got my right leg X-rayed too as I'd been geting the occasional aches and pains in the area of the leg breaks. Feels fine now loaded up with mild pain killers

Enjoying left overs from our curry feast last night. Partner did an excellent job and we all enjoyed the time to have quiet conversation with friend instead of trying to overcome club noise. I get to chop up the chicken and beef as the resident carnivore  :giggle:

Almost bailed then 2 am neurons woke up - two choices - missed

Scale ....the wilderness to the north of me - only 35,000 people
the Cape York Peninsula in Australia is significantly larger than the United Kingdom. Covering roughly 137,000 square kilometres (about 52,900 square miles), it is larger than the UK.

a dire murder mystery yet unsolved

Off to see Brian Cox in Sydney in the am.

Stopped following the noobs that conquered the world two up on a Vstrom 1000 ...gutsy and they were very young and inexperienced.
Now Lavi has her own bike and ...
She looks good as a blonde and has greatly improved as a rider

Vegging getting my sore neck to ease up before Sydney.
