Rides in St. Catharines Area

I find myself in the St. Catharines area a lot now, mostly weekends. The GF and I want to bring down the bikes. I have no idea where (or if) there are any places to ride in the dirt in the St. Kitt's area? What is the cost?

Anybody have any suggestions, or advice on finding a place to ride for a couple of novice/intermediate riders?

There is the East Side Trail that runs from Allanburg to just north of Pt. Colburne. The trail system is approximately 20km and you can find more information here. If you plan on using the trail system, I would join the Ontario Federation of Trail Riders and select the Timberline Riders as your main club.
