Wish I remembered to go to L&L, it was so nice out!

Didn't manage it today :( However....I noticed that Monday is calling for 6 or 7 degrees! The only problem is that it's also calling for rain... :angry7: Which, if it cools off at all could get dangerous quick. Hoping the rain goes elsewhere!

i rode my bike home just now was a 15 km ride LmaO it was freeezing . . .

Fun ride tonight guys, was good to see more riders than expected tonight. Let's hope whatever snow hits this weekend, doesn't last long and we can get back out for another run soon. :)

Since they haven't been able to use the salt most of the winter they decided to dump half a seasons supply on the roads here in Pickering during the last snow/slush fall.

How do your bikes handle the salt? I would like to start riding early but I don't want to rust out.
Crash
I've ridden all winter...she seems just fine. I've wiped her down after some wet ridding and fully sprayed her down twice all winter. I don't see any sign of rust or seizing, except for the chain which I cleaned up right away. I think you'd be good...just take some quick action before anything sets in.

I do worry about salt getting into some of the less accessible parts of the bike, but I spray down the bike whenever/however I can. Generally, for me that means using a spray-bottle and spending a significant amount of time spraying/wiping down the bike, as I live in an apartment and have no access to a hose.. but I'll be taking advantage of the pay-n-wash places this spring. :P

You should request a washing station. Mine has one thats open from 8-8. Its basically a powerful hose. I wash my car there everytime when it snows :P.

I just went for a short ride on King st.(downtown). the road was dry. I also went on DVP. cant wait for spring!!

I got blown around like a ***** today on the 427...It was actually an OMFG moment for a couple seconds but luckily there wasn't much traffic around. The 401 and 403 were windy too but not as bad. I'm guessing all the traffic buffeting the wind makes a big difference on a day like this.
Also mounted my GPS on the bike and used it for the first time even though I knew where I was going...its just fun to have I guess. Next project is to install the plug for it...
