Renew or Not-Renew

Already had a bike stolen from me, not a fun experience.
 
From what I've seen when playing around with variables on insurance quotes websites for various companies, most don't care if you have M2 or M (or even M1 in some cases), they care about total years you've been licensed. They also care about how long you've had insurance for, so a break in that will likely cause an increase later on. Go ahead and play around with quote calculators on websites of TT Meloche Monnex, Riders Plus, etc.

Additionally, theft and vandalism insurance is a good idea when you have anything but the cheapest of bikes.
 
Thanks, yes thats the info I needed.

There wasnt a big difference, although having a M/G could potentially allow me access to other insurers e.g., statefarm. However, that doesnt necessarily mean that my premium will be lower.

They can do that? I mess around with putting vehicles (sometimes the same, sometimes different) on and off my insurance all the time...

Yes but I said he let his M class expire. Once you no longer hold a class of licence for 10 years then they set you back as if you are a brand new driver/rider. It was 10 years and 2 months after his M class expired, that he went in to renew and they would NOT budge for the sake of 2 months.

I don't think M class expires... Just like G... Unless you don't renew your license or something? I dunno. M1, M2, G1, G2 all expire...
