Way back in the day you could buy a MC policy for the months you rode the bike, generally many of us went with 3 or 6 month policies

Some provinces still offer it. My bud in NS first bike gsxr6 $330 for 6 months.

used to be able to pay for the plate sticker for the months used too. Good if your Bday was in the fall.

My first policy in 93 had a 6 month option, but it was like 5% less.
