Reccomendations for a pocket bike for a kid

My nephew is turning 9 and he really wants a "motorcycle". He has a 110cc atv that he rides and is really responsible with so I was thinking of picking him up a pocket bike or something similar. I don't have much knowledge in this area and I don't want to end up buying a piece of crap. If anyone has any tips or recommendations for something for a kid his age to goof around on in my back 40 I would welcome any input :)

CRF50/XR50. Treat it like crap and it'll still run once he's in college.

I still have a Z50 from my childhood (example photo):

crf50 and you will probably win the title of best aunt.

You could just pick him up a GIO 50 or something. We use one as a pit bike and it gets around fine. Plus it's pretty durable and cheap.

anything like the 50cc honda or yamahas... At 9, he's getting close to growing a bit, a 65 would be a good bet too. It's more "racey" but since he has a quad, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Honda crf50. He'll be able to give it to his kids.

yup - you pay a little more but you'll get it back if you sell and they are pretty bulletproof.
Even my destructor kid could not bust a crf...;)
