Bold bothers me to no end. I still can't figure out how they missed this as they had to test the pants and they ride up even if you're just standing around. I've been contemplating having my girlfriend add some straps to them regardless of if it compromises the waterproof seam on them.
 
I've used the Frogg Togg's Road Toads for the last three years. I have found the jacket length to be good but the legs to be way too short. With the crotch in the right spot, so I can actually sit on my sportbike (SV650S), the legs stop just above my boots. I've bought booties to cover up my boots and pants, but they are annoying.

The Road Toads themselves have worked great! I've travelled for over 200 km on the 401 in pouring rain and didn't get wet at all. What eventually failed was the zipper on the jacket and the snaps weren't adequate enough to hold it closed by themselves.

This past weekend I ordered the new Horny Toadz rain suit from GP bikes for $118 - more than the Road Toads but with more features. The legs appear to be the right length and now have straps that go under your boots. I also bought the hi-vis green version that comes with black pants. I've heard that they perform as well as the Road Toads but as of yet I haven't had any experience with them myself.

Do you typically order a size bigger than your gear, so it'll fit over top comfortably?
 
I believe that both my Road Toad and my Joe Rocket Ballistic Alter Ego are size medium. I'll double check tonight and post it up.

cool thanks. I need to get some good rain gear this year, and the frogg toggs stuff is significantly less money than I expected, i just don't want to end up ordering stuff that's too small to fit over my leather jacket and textile pants.

I bought mine in the same size as my gear (Small). The Frogg Toggs outfits seem to be made with being placed over your gear kept in mind.
 
I have the frogg toggs and I like that they fold up into a small bag.
On the other hand, they are very light and good for light to medium rain or temporary rain. I rode for hours in torrential downpour for a couple of hours and got unpleasantly moist inside after a while.
I guess thats the price you pay for "breathable"

Very important the brighter the rain gear the better.
 
I have rain pants and jacket from tsc under the seat.
if its warm enough I just ride then strip off in the back yard and walk in the house :)

Ok, my Joe Rocket leather jacket is a size 40, my textile Joe Rocket jacket is a size medium but my Frogg Toggs are a size small. As someone else said, they must be sized to fit over clothing. Makes me wonder if the medium I have on order will be too big...
 
Here's the BMW gear. Like I said..makes you looks like a fool but its works! It fits really tight but once its on, it fits and moves perfect. Only down side is that its warm...nothing gets thru which includes airflow.

I wound up picking up a Teknic Freeway 2012 jacket today at GP. Seems like a pretty solid piece, anyone here wear these?

I'll be wearing this jacket along with my Joe Rocket Alter Ego pants.. hopefully they'll work out well in various conditions. I've read reviews from people who've worn the Freeway in 12F temps.. crazy.

I have a Freeway jacket as well, you might want to see if Royal Distributing still has any on clearance. Picked mine up last fall, looks to be the same as the current model. Good jacket and seems to work well, haven't tried it in the rain yet. Personally, I wouldn't want to go out in 12F, but it is pretty toasty down to 5C

+2 I own Frogg Toggs. They are ok to keep dry for short commutes. They dry fast and pack up small. For commuting this is your suit; for Touring and Road Trips, no.
