Rager in Pt. Credit

Society is falling apart.

Basic courtesies and mannerisms are rare.

it's all about the "why should I, i'm entitled" attitude now.

Riders surrounded the SUV, yelling and hitting the truck. Driver felt threatened and took off.

It was more than just feeling threatened. At that point the riders were trying to open his doors and he had his wife, and young child in the vehicle.

had to look this one up in online dictionary..

Rekt
A word commonly use by the many swaggots which surf the internet who are too lazy to type out the word "Wrecked" and therefore resort to the word "Rekt". Also used by various other users. Etc. Etc.

Good point Face. Ive been thinking about getting one recently. That should wake them up!

When I rode as a kid I promised myself I would install an air horn.. so when I got my licence in canada a few years ago, it was the first mod I did. I had New rider firends who dont realise why until something happens they use their stock horns and no one blinks..

you know what's funny? it's hard for my brain to not do a proper spelling of a word and would take longer to write rekt than wrecked.

I find a fair amount of sports bike riders go out of their way just to pick a fight. If I were the person in the suv/van I'd would've just called the cops. If the guy decided to get in front and do a brake check.. 3500lbs vs 500lbs..

Stock OEM Japanese horns are truly useless. Most older people can't even hear in that high range.

I was walking along Lakeshore Road on Saturday in the midst of crazy traffic congestion and i could hear a young guy sitting on a green sport bike screaming obscenities at a SUV with a family inside, while traffic was barely moving. Everyone stopped and watched. I thought the guy was going to dismount and do something really stupid.

The kid would not let up so I assume the van may have done something like cut him off or move into his lane.

We've all experienced being made vulnerable by vehicles but in the traffic environment like that (hardly moving) , anything is possible and I would have thought that as a biker, his best decision would be to keep scanning 360 degrees constantly to anticipate things instead of venting at some schmuck in a SUV.

It just didn't make us bikers look good.

Yea... just like wiggers and their pants make plumbers look bad.

And, if Princess's Man can add that the video edits out one very important event: when the SUV driver was dragged out of his car and beaten to the ground.

What awful bikers. And, to make matter worse, it appears that there were 3 undercover police officers in the group of bikers that did nothing to help.

The 3 undercover cops were helping out with the beating. The guy who spending his life in a wheel chair lawyer dropped him after finding out he didn't have a license or insurance.

Two wrongs don't make a right, but we are assuming a lot, (like the SUV merged into the bikers lane). It could have been innocent as he didn't signal his intent and the biker over reacted. We could come up with 1,000 scenarios doesn't make it proper for the biker to be yelling and cursing while in stopped traffic. As Rob said he could have got off the bike and accomplished the same result at the driver's window.

For those who said he "could have killed the biker" with the merge, (IF that was what actually happened), maybe if they were doing proper speeds, but really in stop and go traffic I doubt he would have, (and if the rider couldn't avoid a slow speed collision then should they really be riding)?

Just another example of why we ride like everyone is intent upon killing us then we avoid these situations. In reality if the SUV driver did merge unintentionally a blast of the horn and a WTF gesture likely would have sufficed.

I'll be the first to admit that some actions could be innocent. Today I was indicating left and moved across the road to do so across the path of a cyclist who thought I was going straight for some reason. I got a mouthful of abuse from the guy (who wasn't using a hand signal or anything as he weaved across two lanes) so as I drove away wondering WTF was up I gave him a nice one fingered salute. Turns out my indicator bulb had just burnt out....sooooooo I felt bad. I drove straight to the dealer to get the damn bulb (not available in crappy tire..dealer only part) and rectified the problem.

Nytimes.... i'll look it up.

I think I stand corrected. I swear I read sometime last fall the lawyer dropped him since there was no chance of him winning a case due to no license or insurance.
I noticed his posting a few weeks ago about the rr driver did an about face and a recent news show saying he doesn't blame the driver (lying). I'd only assume it's only to strengthen his lies.

Sometimes bikers are their own worst enemy.

From a wiki:
Apparently bystanders came in to defense cause the bikers were starting to attack his wife and kid saying they're going to get it to. seriously? Wtf.

At the end of the day if I can across from biker raging on me for no apparent reason and my family safety well you can guess what will happen. Hint 2500lbs vs 500lbs. Bikers act tough thinking you'll do nothing.

I spend most of my days on the road and I've seen it all. The most common thing lately is people getting into the passing lane but not speeding up to pass (mostly on the 410). Usually I just give the driver a stern stare when I finally get a chance to pass followed by a disappointing head shake. Most of the time their response is just a shameful look back, almost like when a dog puts it's tail between its legs. Much better than road rage. Anger just instigates. Disappointment messes up egos.

Did you pass a TDI?

Confirmed mirror smasher.

Probably.... But the presence of children means it's kept in check.

No, it depends.

I had a car merge into my turn lane from his adjacent turn lane about 20 years ago. I zipped ahead of him and yelled the question if he knew that he must keep in his own lane (he had his windows down and wife and kids were in the car). I was a bit ticked but not postal. When he flippantly dismissed me I kind of lost it and started expressing my displeasure with what I believed to be his lack of intelligence using colourful metaphors.
What really set me off is when he yelled back that I was to watch my language with his kids in the car.
My response was to ask if his kids would enjoy watching their fathers head being kicked off his shoulders (I used to be a bit aggressive).

The point is his response is what set me off. Hiding behind your kids is not cool and irrelevant when you are being a goof.

I zipped ahead
i don't understand why people choose to put themselves in a position closer to a vehicle that is apparently dangerous. time and again "they were weaving (or whatever), so i passed them"

see someone being an idiot? follow at safe distance, contact police; or take the next right.

huh? rr not blaming the driver (rider?) who is "his" (posting)? mieses? if so, don't believe a word he says or writes. he'll lie to protect himself.

his lawyer is no better. apparently, she 'believes' that since he stepped off the bike, he's now a pedestrian, and the driver is always at fault for hitting a pedestrian:confused:

From a wiki

always a credible source.

How would you troll the SUV driver? Put a personal touch on it!

1. Follow him until he stops long enough for you to take down his license plate
2. From a payphone, call the cops and say there's a man in said SUV, with a crack pipe in his mouth, swerving through traffic with children in the back
3. Enjoy the satisfaction of the ****** getting harassed by the cops.
