RACE Superseries program for July 20-22 is now up!

I've pre-registered. This weekend conflicts with the Shubenacadie national ... probably won't be many pro riders out there.

edit: Blue Yamaha FZR400, #64.

I'll be out for my first ever race. It's just a one off for this year to see if i would rather just track day it, or race. Friday i have my licence day then ride novice 600 for the weekend. Pretty pumped!

I also preregisterd and I'm more excited than Charlie Sheen on free escort day in las Vegas. It's my first road race and first race of any kind in almost 10 years so I'll be the guy vomiting on the line in am sbk #991.

Awesome to hear about a couple new racers. Don't be shy if you need anything at all, I'm under two Suzuki Canopies. I'll be there all weekend.
Like BrianP mentioned, will mostly likely be quiet because of the Nationals at Shubie.

I'll be out there with the cameras, as usual. If it's a quiet weekend then it will work out well, because one of the crew wives is hoping for some pointers on shooting track action.

Is anyone going up there Thursday night who can watch my trailer for me?

I have a crazy schedule happening. I have to go to a jobsite in eastern Ontario for Friday. It doesn't make sense to trek all the way out there and then all the way back then get the trailer and trek out to Shannonville. I'd rather drop the trailer off Thursday evening and leave it at the track, get the job done (which pays for the weekend and then some), then just come back Friday afternoon.

Jia, yeah, I'll be there Friday.
Brian, I am planning on getting there Thursday evening, between 9 and 10.

Hmm I'm gonna be there Friday afternoon trading my bike. I'd love to give this new bike a little whirl. Hopefully do the afternoon of the trackday. I'd like to race it since I'm already there and always wanted to do a RACE series event. Hmmm, guess I'll see how I go on Friday.

Me and my brother are expecting to leave Oshawa around 7, so we'll be out there around 830. We usually pit under the grandstands straight north from the entrance maybe a bit to the west. Wouldn't mind keeping an eye out.

Maybe for a track day but not for a race weekend! Under the grandstands is off limits. Things are quite a bit more structured on a race weekend. (This being your first one, I can understand not being aware of that ...)

I'll probably drop the trailer in the 3rd row of the paddock somewhere. The front part of each row are mostly reserved for the vendors and the big boys - but I'm not sure how many of the big boys are actually going to be there.

Ahh i see. Good to know so i don't set up shop tonight and then have to move everything. Thanks for the heads up. Either way, we'll be in a black land rover lr3 with 2 bikes, both beautiful primer gray if you want to park near.

Yea awesome weekend for sure. Dricked did too, raced in Pro Superbike if I recall correctly..passed a guy too ! Congrats everybody.

Lol yep had an awsome first race weekend!! 3rd in am sbk and I did pass a pro but I think he was having a bad day, did a couple shoulder checks and a leg off. I think doc had the best weekend out of anyone.

I was pitted next to you Brian, had the hairy dog. JVH, you know me but I don't know you (probably do but JVH is hard to figure out lol).

A lot of people did pretty well. Rob caught a checkered, as did BrianP.

Dricked looked pretty comfortable out there. No vomit in evidence.

It's almost always a good weekend for Doc Walker

Thanks
rob! The qualifier being a race took a little of the edge off (had no idea untill they started that it was a race to qualify). If you or anyone got any pics I will gladly buy'em all.
